Our Team

Bryan McWatt

Bryan McWatt is President of Bryton Capital Corp. He has over 30 years of real estate experience, including acquisitions, asset management, development dispositions, leasing and property management. Prior to founding Bryton, Bryan was Senior Vice-President at Lasalle Investment Management in Toronto, where he was in charge of acquisitions, development and portfolio management. He graduated from Wilfred Laurier University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Commerce and an MBA (specializing in finance) from the University of Windsor. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Shivani Ranjan

Shivani Ranjan is Vice President of Development of Bryton Development Corporation. She brings with her 15 years of international experience in Real estate development, Architecture, Project Management and Urban Planning. Prior to joining Bryton Development Corp. Shivani has worked on architecture and development projects in Germany and Canada. She has an MBA (specialising in finance) from university of Massachusetts and has Masters in Urban planning and Bachelors in Architecture.

Jessica Valela

Jessica is the project coordinator of Bryton Development Corporation. With a solution driven approach and a set of uniquely diversified skills, she brings her progressive experience in construction management. Prior to joining Bryton Development Corp., Jessica worked many commercial and residential projects.

Patrick Lai

Patrick Lai is a real estate investment and financing specialist with experience and knowledge in the real estate investment/advisory industry acquired over a 25+ year career at Redcliff/Triovest Realty Advisors, Morguard Investments Limited, MD Realty Corporation and Colliers. He has participated in and successfully completed 70+ investment and financing transactions totalling more than $2 billion across Canada in all major property types including office, industrial, retail, multi-residential and land. Patrick has an undergraduate degree from St. John’s University, Minnesota, majoring in Accounting, and an MBA degree from St. Cloud State University, Minnesota. He is a focused, creative and resourceful professional with the proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external parties consistently ensuring successful deal outcome.
